LITTLE LIGHT STUDIO
By booking a photography session with LITTLE LIGHT STUDIO, the client confirms that they have read, understood and agreed to the following Terms & Conditions.
01 — Your Booking
Your session date and time are reserved once full payment has been received online through Little Light Studio.
Full payment is required at the time of booking. We are unable to hold or confirm a session date with a partial payment or payment plan.
Until full payment has been received, your preferred date and time remain available for other bookings.
If you need to cancel your session, the amount paid will be refunded in accordance with the cancellation terms below.
Prices and packages may change from time to time. However, once your session has been booked and paid for, the price confirmed at the time of booking will remain valid for you.
02 — Cancellations & Rescheduling
We understand that plans can change, so if you need to cancel or reschedule your session, please let us know as soon as possible.
If you cancel your session, your full payment will be refunded.
If you would prefer to reschedule rather than cancel, we will always do our best to find another suitable date, subject to availability.
For maternity sessions, we completely understand that pregnancy can be unpredictable. If pregnancy-related circumstances mean that you are unable to attend your original session, we will do our very best to accommodate you with an alternative date.
03 — Arriving for Your Session
Please arrive 15 minutes before so that we can make the most of your session together.
If you arrive late, unfortunately we may need to shorten the session to keep to the original finishing time. The full session fee will still apply.
We want your experience to feel relaxed and unhurried, so allowing yourself enough time to arrive, park and settle in is always recommended.
04 — Weather & Outdoor Sessions
For outdoor sessions, the weather is naturally part of the experience.
If conditions are unsafe or unsuitable for photography, we will work together to find another date.
Cloudy skies, gentle wind or changing light do not necessarily mean a session needs to be cancelled — these conditions can often create some of the most beautiful and atmospheric photographs.
The final decision to postpone a session due to weather will be made by Little Light Studio with your safety and the quality of your experience in mind.
05 — Your Safety & Comfort
Your comfort always comes first.
Photography should never feel uncomfortable or unsafe. For maternity sessions in particular, you should never feel pressured to hold a pose or do anything that does not feel right for you.
Please let me know about any physical limitations, injuries, pregnancy-related concerns or other circumstances that may affect your ability to comfortably participate in the session.
You should never undertake a pose or activity that has been advised against by your doctor or medical professional.
06 — Our Creative Style
When you book Little Light Studio, you are booking our artistic style and creative vision.
Every image is carefully considered, from the way we use light and composition to the final colour grading and retouching.
Little Light Studio retains artistic discretion over:

The locations and compositions used

Posing and direction
-
Lighting
-
The photographs selected for delivery

Editing and colour grading
-
Retouching
-
The final presentation of your images
We carefully select the strongest images from your session for your final gallery.
RAW files, unedited images, rejected images, duplicates and outtakes are not provided.
07 — Editing & Retouching
Your photographs will be edited in the Little Light Studio style that you see throughout our portfolio.
Basic retouching is included as part of our normal editing process.
Requests for extensive retouching or alterations outside our usual editing style may be subject to an additional fee.
We want your photographs to remain authentic to you while still having the beautiful, polished finish that Little Light Studio is known for.
08 — Your Photographs
Your final photographs will normally be delivered through a private online gallery within 1–2 weeks of your session.
During exceptionally busy periods, delivery may occasionally take a little longer. If there is a significant delay, we will always keep you informed.
Your images will be supplied as high-resolution JPG files, suitable for printing and personal use.
09 — Your Gallery
Your online gallery will remain available for three months from the date of delivery.
Please download and safely back up your photographs during this time.
After three months, the gallery may be permanently removed and Little Light Studio cannot guarantee that your photographs will still be available.
If we are able to recover images after the gallery has expired, a recovery fee may apply.
We strongly recommend keeping at least two copies of your photographs in safe storage.
10 — Copyright & Use of Your Images
Your photographs are original artistic works created by Little Light Studio and remain protected by copyright.
Copyright is retained by Little Light Studio and is not transferred to the client.
You receive a personal, non-exclusive licence to enjoy and use your delivered photographs for personal, non-commercial purposes.
You are welcome to:

Print your photographs

Keep them as personal memories
-
Share them on your personal social media

Give prints as personal gifts
The photographs may not be sold, commercially licensed, submitted for commercial use or provided to third parties for commercial purposes without prior written permission from Little Light Studio.
11 — Sharing Your Photographs
I absolutely love seeing my photographs shared and enjoyed.
You are welcome to share your final images on your personal social media accounts.
I simply ask that the photographs remain in their original edited form and that filters, colour changes, heavy cropping or other alterations are not applied.
Where possible, please tag or credit Little Light Studio when sharing your photographs.
12 — Sharing Your Images With Your Permission
We may occasionally ask if we can use photographs from your session for the Little Light Studio portfolio, website, social media, advertising or other promotional purposes.
Your privacy matters to us.
Permission for Little Light Studio to use your images for promotional purposes will be requested separately and will not be assumed simply because you have booked a session.
You may choose whether or not you are comfortable with your photographs being shared.
13 — Children & Pets
We love having little ones and furry family members join us on outdoor desert shoots.
Parents or legal guardians remain responsible for the supervision and safety of children during the session.
Clients bringing pets are responsible for their supervision, behaviour and safety.
Little Light Studio cannot be held responsible for injury, damage or loss caused by unsupervised children or pets.
14 — If Something Happens to Your Photographer
Very occasionally, circumstances outside our control may mean that Little Light Studio is unable to attend your session, including serious illness or an emergency.
Where possible, we will offer you an alternative date.
If we are unable to provide the session and an alternative date cannot be arranged, any amount paid towards the affected session will be refunded.
15 — Circumstances Beyond Our Control
Sometimes things happen that nobody can reasonably predict or prevent.
Little Light Studio cannot be held responsible for failure or delay caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disasters, government restrictions, venue closures, accidents, illness or other emergencies.
Where possible, we will always work with you to find a suitable alternative.
16 — If Something Isn't Quite Right
We want you to love your experience with Little Light Studio — and, of course, love your photographs.
If you have any concerns or feel that something isn't quite right, please contact me within 7 working days of receiving your gallery.
I will always do my best to listen, understand your concerns and work together towards a reasonable solution.
A Little Note From Me
These photographs are more than just photographs.
They are a record of a little person who was once only a bump, tiny hands that won't stay tiny forever, and a chapter of your family's story that you will one day look back on with so much love.
Our goal is to create photographs that feel beautiful, natural and timeless — photographs that you will still want to have on your walls many years from now.
